To access the Judges Portal, you will need to use the credentials sent to you by AAF National.
Judging may be hosted virtually. Please check with your local Chapter to verify requirements of physical entries. Requirement of physical entry submissions is at the discretion of the local AAF Chapter.
In some categories, entrants are allowed and/or required to upload additional digital examples of an entry. This is intended to provide more appropriate content for the judges, should a virtual judging solution be necessary. For most categories, there has been no change from prior competition years.
Please carefully follow all online submission guidelines provided within the entry system, in order to ensure that your work is properly represented during all three tiers of the American Advertising Awards competition.
Western Virginia Advertising Awards

Celebrate the best of the region in advertising at the Western Virginia Advertising Awards Gala. Early bird pricing is in effect through Feb. 9, 2024.
Gala: The awards gala includes a sit-down meal and awards presentation. Drinks will be available for purchase at cash bar. (Ticket and table purchases include one drink ticket per person.) Dress is “garden party” semi-formal — think anything from floral dresses to slacks and jackets (sequins optional).
After-Party presented by 5Points Creative: Private after-party at 202 Social House immediately following the awards gala. Each after-party ticket includes a dessert bar and a champagne toast. Cash bar will be open in the private area for all other beverages. After-party open to ticketed guests only. (Tickets will be $15 each on the day of the Gala.)
Hotel block: AAF Roanoke has a room block at Hotel Roanoke for $219 per night (must make reservations by 2/2/24). Call to book and mention “Advertising Federation Awards Banquet” or book online.
