To access the Judges Portal, you will need to use the credentials sent to you by AAF National.

Judging may be hosted virtually. Please check with your local Chapter to verify requirements of physical entries. Requirement of physical entry submissions is at the discretion of the local AAF Chapter.

In some categories, entrants are allowed and/or required to upload additional digital examples of an entry. This is intended to provide more appropriate content for the judges, should a virtual judging solution be necessary. For most categories, there has been no change from prior competition years.

Please carefully follow all online submission guidelines provided within the entry system, in order to ensure that your work is properly represented during all three tiers of the American Advertising Awards competition.

**Early Bird Entries** must be submitted online by midnight EST 12/2/2023.
**Standard Entries** must be submitted online by midnight EST 1/26/2024.

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

  • All work entered in the American Advertising Awards competition must have first appeared in the media between January 1 and December 31, 2023.
  • With the exceptions of the Public Service Advertising and Advertising Industry Self-Promotion categories, work entered must be the result of paid creative services and media placement in the normal course of business (excluding student entries).
  • Entries must be submitted in the CBSA, DMA, or MSA where the work was created (as defined by Arbitron or Nielsen for your local market). In cases where entrants are situated in markets not served by a local American Advertising Award-affiliated show, the acceptance, processing, judging, forwarding, and fees of those entries will be determined by the governing body of the district in which the entrant is located.
  • PHYSICAL ENTRIES NO LONGER REQUIRED. If you are submitting a project into a category that is inherently better judged as a physical entry (such as a sales kit, mailer, packaging, etc.), please provide high-quality pictures and/or videos of your printed material to accompany your entry, showcasing the quality and construction of your submission.

Professional (AAF Miami member)

  • Single Entry: $200
  • Campaign: $250

Professional (Non-Member)

  • Single Entry: $300
  • Campaign: $375

Student 

  • Single Entry $45
  • Campaign: $65
MEMBERSHIP VERIFICATION
We will verify your Membership status before your entry is officially accepted for competition. If you enter work as a member and are not updated with your dues, you will be invoiced for your renewal. If you have any questions regarding your membership renewal, please email membership@aafmiami.com
DEADLINE FOR ENTRY
The deadline to submit entries is Monday, January 8, 2024, at midnight EST.
