The American Advertising Awards, formerly the ADDYs, is the advertising industry's largest and most representative competition, attracting over 40,000 entries every year in local AAF Club (Ad Club) competitions. The mission of the American Advertising Awards competition is to recognize and reward the creative spirit of excellence in the art of advertising.
Conducted annually by the American Advertising Federation (AAF), the local Ad Club phase is the first of a three-tier, national competition. Concurrently, all across the country, local entrants vie to win ADDY Awards - recognition as the very best in their markets. At the second tier, local ADDY winners compete against winners from other local clubs in one of 15 district competitions. District ADDY winners are then forwarded to the third tier, the national stage of the American Advertising Awards. Entry in your local Ad Club competition is the first step toward winning a national ADDY.
How to Enter:
Step 1: Review your creative work completed between January 1, 2017 – December 31, 2017.
and select what you feel are your very best projects. Make sure you have two copies of each item you submit.
Step 2: Collect the names and titles of all those involved in the creative you select (designers, project managers, writers, etc.). Then Collect the digital and tangible assets of your projects (*.pdfs, *.jpg, *.png, *.mov or *.mp4, etc.).
Step 3: Submit via our online entry portal.
Step 4: Pick up your packets, prepare your entry packets then drop-off your completed packet on Thursday, Janauary 18, at the CoLab @ the Pod (more info below). If your submission is completely digital such as a website or video you do not need to submit a physical copy as long as you uploaded your assets to the online entry portal.

Packet Drop Off Day
You may drop off your ADDY packets on January 18th between 4:30-8:00pm at the CoLab @ the Pod (124 Marriott Dr, Tallahassee, FL 32301). No entries will be accepted after 8:00pm. If you need to make arrangements to drop off your packets at an earlier date please email: ADDYS@aaftallahassee.com.
There will be apps and drinks at the Packet Drop-Off (Sponsored by The Pod Advertising) so…even if you have digital entries and no packets to drop off, stop by and hang! Thank you Pod!

**Please make sure your membership is up-to-date. If you click member pricing, and your membership is not up to date, AAF Tallahassee will bill you for membership dues, and your membership dues must be paid by January 18, 2017 for your entries to qualify.
