The American Advertising Awards, formerly the ADDYs, is the advertising industry's largest and most representative competition, attracting over 40,000 entries every year in local AAF Club (Ad Club) competitions. The mission of the American Advertising Awards competition is to recognize and reward the creative spirit of excellence in the art of advertising.
Conducted annually by the American Advertising Federation (AAF), the local Ad Club phase is the first of a three-tier, national competition. Concurrently, all across the country, local entrants vie to win ADDY Awards - recognition as the very best in their markets. At the second tier, local ADDY winners compete against winners from other local clubs in one of 15 district competitions. District ADDY winners are then forwarded to the third tier, the national stage of the American Advertising Awards. Entry in your local Ad Club competition is the first step toward winning a national ADDY.

Thank you for entering the 2017-2018 district ADDY awards presented by AAF Lexington!
On behalf of our board members and committee chairs, we're excited to celebrate with you at the ADDY Gala on Friday, February 23rd, 2018 at the Lyric Theatre. We have a fun evening in store and colorful attire is encouraged!
The competition begins on December 8th, 2017, and entries can be submitted at that time.

PROFESSIONAL ENTRIES | DATES & PRICING *
Early Bird Entry Pricing - Through December 22nd, 2017 until 11:59pm EST
AAF Member: $70
Last Call Entry Pricing - Entries submitted after 11:59pm EST on December 22nd, 2017
AAF Member: $90
* Rates apply for single entries. Each campaign entry has an additional $15 fee. Last call rates will be waived on work created after December 22nd, 2017.
STUDENT ENTRY PRICING **
AAF Member: $30
** No extra charge for student campaign entries or last call entries. Early Bird pricing is not applicable to student entries as entry pricing remains the same throughout the competition.
LAST CALL FOR ENTRIES
The last call for entries will be January 5th, 2017. You still have until January 12th, 2018 to submit and pay for your entries at the Final Drop-Off (below). To submit work, you MUST fill out all information and requirements online before printing the entry and manifest forms. Entry and manifest forms are REQUIRED for each submission at drop-off.
FINAL ENTRY DROP-OFF DATE & TIME
The final entry drop-off for physical entries (not web / digital) date is Friday, January 12th, 2018 @ The Herald Leader (3pm - 7pm).
FINAL ENTRY DROP-OFF PAYMENTS
If you are paying for entries with a paper check, you MUST bring a check with you to the Herald Leader (map below) on the drop-off date. Please make all checks payable to "AAF Lexington" or send to PO Box 1815, Lexington, Kentucky 40588-1815.
Check and credit card payments will be accepted at the final drop off location.
