To access the Judges Portal, you will need to use the credentials sent to you by AAF National.
Judging may be hosted virtually. Please check with your local Chapter to verify requirements of physical entries. Requirement of physical entry submissions is at the discretion of the local AAF Chapter.
In some categories, entrants are allowed and/or required to upload additional digital examples of an entry. This is intended to provide more appropriate content for the judges, should a virtual judging solution be necessary. For most categories, there has been no change from prior competition years.
Please carefully follow all online submission guidelines provided within the entry system, in order to ensure that your work is properly represented during all three tiers of the American Advertising Awards competition.

Welcome to AAF Austin's 2024 American Advertising Awards Competition!
2024 Professional Rules & Categories 2024 Student Rules & Categories
2024 Rules & Categories should be used in choosing categories and making the submissions for your entries. No physical entries will be accepted. All entries will be judged from the Judging Portal of the competition site.
Returning Entrants can log in on the left. New Entrants can set up an account by clicking the appropriate link on the left.
For AAF Austin's local competition: Be sure to include email addresses for each Credit listed on your entry so everyone on your team can claim their own NFT image for their awards.
Entry Uploads: ALL entries, including physical, broadcast, and digital, MUST be uploaded into the competition software regardless of category and will be judged from the Judging Portal of the competition site. No physical entries will be accepted.
Uploads will also be used in Austin's winners' book and the award shows on the local, district, and national levels. Screenshots of Digital files or URLs will be used in Austin's winners' book. You may upload a screenshot to be used. You will not have the opportunity to upload after your entries have been submitted locally. For the best viewing of PDFs by the judges, upload a reduced-size high-res PDF.
Entry Credits: Remember credits are not just for local use, but for district and national as well. Please proofread carefully, use proper punctuation, and abbreviate titles where possible if you have a large number of credits. You will not have the opportunity to add or make changes to credits after your entries have been submitted.
Entry Deadlines:
Early Entry Deadline: December 23, 2023 at 11:59 p.m.
Late fees apply starting December 24, 2023 at 12 a.m.
Additional $25 fee for Professionals - Additional $15 fee for Students
Final Entry Deadline: January 5, 2024 at 11:59 p.m.
Professional Entry Fees:
$110 per Early entry for Professional Members $135 per Late entry for Professional Members
