Judging for the American Advertising Awards will be conducted online.

In some categories, entrants are allowed and/or required to upload additional digital examples of an entry. This is intended to provide more appropriate content for the judges.

Please carefully follow all online submission guidelines provided within the entry system, to ensure that your work is properly represented during all three tiers of the American Advertising Awards competition.

Entry Fees:

  • AAF Member: Single $86/ Campaign $125
  • Non-AAF Member: Single $98/ Campaign $145
  • Student: Single & Campaign $20

AAF-Coastal Bend has established a few local only categories for the 2024-2025 PROFESSIONAL competition. Winners in these categories will not advance to the District and National competitions, but will receive a local American Advertising Award. Below are the local- only categories:

  • Sales Promotion-Special Event Material- Card, Invitation, Announcement (L009A and L009B): This local-only category is for collateral created for a private, community, or personal event that is not for self promotion with no allocated budget and charges no entry fee. Ex. Birthday parties, weddings, costume parties, ext. 

  • Out of Home- Ambient Media- Events (L017A and L017B): This local-only category is for a private, community, or personal event that is not for self promotion with no allocated budget and charges no entry fee. Ex. Birthday parties, weddings, costume parties, ext. 

  • Film, Video, Sound- Television Advertising (L031A, L031B, L031C and L031D): This local-only category is for television advertising with a budget of $2,500 or less.
