The American Advertising Awards, home of the ADDY® Award, is one of the industry's largest creative competitions, attracting nearly 35,000 professional and student entries each year through competitions offered through local AAF clubs. The mission of the American Advertising Awards is to recognize and reward the creative spirit of excellence in advertising.
Conducted annually by the American Advertising Federation (AAF), the local Ad Club phase is the first of a three-tier, national competition. Concurrently, all across the country, local entrants vie to win ADDY Awards - recognition as the very best in their markets. At the second tier, local ADDY winners compete against winners from other local clubs in one of 15 district competitions. District ADDY winners are then forwarded to the third tier, the national stage of the American Advertising Awards. Entry in your local Ad Club competition is the first step toward winning a national ADDY.
How To Enter
Choose Professional or Student Entry. Fill out information online and print out entry forms. Video, audio and work that appeared online can be uploaded. Physical copies of all other entries must be delivered. Be sure to include 2 (two) copies of the entry. DO NOT MOUNT ENTRIES! Mounted entries will be disqualified.
All work entered into the American Advertising Awards competition must have first appeared in the media between January 1 and December 31, 2018.
Clear bags for your entries are available at the drop-off location. You can come by Texas Tech University Student Housing (3211 18th Street, Lubbock, TX 79409) through December 19, 2018 Monday–Friday 8 AM to 4 PM or January 2, 2019–January 4, 2019 to pick them up ahead of time, or get them when you drop off your physical entries. Please note that University Student Housing will be closed during the holidays.

Members Entry: $85 Single | $100 Campaign
Non-Member Entry: $115 Single | $130 Campaign
