To access the Judges Portal, you will need to use the credentials sent to you by AAF National.

Judging may be hosted virtually. Please check with your local Chapter to verify requirements of physical entries. Requirement of physical entry submissions is at the discretion of the local AAF Chapter.

In some categories, entrants are allowed and/or required to upload additional digital examples of an entry. This is intended to provide more appropriate content for the judges, should a virtual judging solution be necessary. For most categories, there has been no change from prior competition years.

Please carefully follow all online submission guidelines provided within the entry system, in order to ensure that your work is properly represented during all three tiers of the American Advertising Awards competition.

Entry Guide

Three LOCAL ONLY categories have been added this year. These entries will not be eligible to move on to the district or national competition. The three local categories are described below:

1. SADDYs - a SADDY is a piece of creative work that sadly wasn't accepted by a client, but you felt was stellar and award-worthy. Enter that piece here so it can finally see the light of day and receive the credit it deserves!

2. Vendor of the Year - do you know a local printer/subcontractor/vendor who consistently comes in clutch? Please submit a PDF with 500 words or less describing why we should name this person or company as our 2023 Vendor of the Year! These will be judged on the written submission only.

3. SBC Advertising Hall of Fame - Nominate a local professional that has made a significant impact on the SBC advertising world. For this category, you are encouraged to submit the name of a Shreveport-Bossier advertising professional - past or present - who has significantly impacted the advertising landscape of the area. Eligible candidates are those individuals who have distinguished themselves in their careers, who have contributed to the betterment of advertising and its reputation, and who have made volunteer efforts outside the workplace a priority.

1.) Each nomination must include a description of the significant contributions the nominee has made to the local advertising industry. In what ways was this contribution innovative? How has it impacted the local advertising industry over time?

2.) Each nomination must include a description of the nominee’s contribution to the betterment of society outside his/her business career.

Nomination materials must be submitted as one PDF. These will be judged on the written submission only.

ATTENTION:
All work must be submitted virtually. Follow the directions below for submitting your payment and sending us your manifest form digitally.
