Judging for the American Advertising Awards will be conducted online.
In some categories, entrants are allowed and/or required to upload additional digital examples of an entry. This is intended to provide more appropriate content for the judges.
Please carefully follow all online submission guidelines provided within the entry system, to ensure that your work is properly represented during all three tiers of the American Advertising Awards competition.
AAF DC Awards Deadlines
Early-Bird Deadline: Friday, November 29, 2024
Standard Deadline: Friday, January 10th, 2025
Late Deadline: Wednesday, January 14th, 2025
We are so excited to be back for the 2025 American Advertising Awards! Once again, there will be NO PHYSICAL ENTRIES once again this year. All entries will be digital only. Please use any digital means necessary to best display your work—videos, images, PDF, etc. Most categories allow up to 10 images per entry.
See PDFs below for categories and rules to best help you decide where to enter. You can enter your work in more than one category so don't feel limited.
In addition to our usual award categories, we are introducing three new local-only awards:
The Extreme Makeover Award: Your best rebranding work. Be sure to include the original work so we can see the progress.
The Zombie Award: Your best work the client left behind or spec work that never saw daylight. Bring it back to life for this award.
The Influencer Award: Your best work that used a creator/influencer to spread a brand message through public sharing, commenting and expressions of opinions and content.

DEADLINES:
Early bird deadline: Friday, November 29th, 2024 (Save $15 per entry)
Regular deadline: Friday, January 10, 2025
Late deadline: Tuesday, January 14, 2025 (Add $15 per entry)
ENTRY FEES FOR 2025:
PROFESSIONAL AWARDS: Early-Bird save $15 per entry. Late entry add $15 per entry.
Members: $120 single / $150 campaign
Non-Members: $160 single / $190 campaign (Become a member and save)
STUDENT AWARDS:
Members & Non-Members: $20 per entry anytime
IMPORTANT NOTE: This entry site is for the AAF DC local competition only.
All professional and student entries must be submitted in the local competition where they were created. If an affiliated competition does not exist in your market (CBSA, DMA or MSA), please see this list to find and enter in the affiliated competition closest to your geographic area.
