To access the Judges Portal, you will need to use the credentials sent to you by AAF National.

Judging may be hosted virtually. Please check with your local Chapter to verify requirements of physical entries. Requirement of physical entry submissions is at the discretion of the local AAF Chapter.

In some categories, entrants are allowed and/or required to upload additional digital examples of an entry. This is intended to provide more appropriate content for the judges, should a virtual judging solution be necessary. For most categories, there has been no change from prior competition years.

Please carefully follow all online submission guidelines provided within the entry system, in order to ensure that your work is properly represented during all three tiers of the American Advertising Awards competition.

Local Entry Fees

  • Professional Single Entry: $65 (Member) / $105 (Non-Member)
  • Professional Campaign Entry: $85 (Member) / $145 (Non-Member)
  • Student Single Entry: $30
  • Student Campaign Entry: $35

Please make note, this year physical entries will not be accepted at the District or National levels. However, physical entries will be required at the local level and Take-in Days will be offered so you can submit physical entries. Please be aware that judging will take place in person this year at the local level. *

Take-In Day Checklist

  • Signed Manifest/Invoice
  • Payment (if not paid online)
  • Physical Entries in Envelopes 

Each entry should be submitted in a plastic or paper envelope with the following:

  • Your entry form
  • Your physical entry
  • Labels on back of physical entry (if your entry is a campaign or has multiple elements, please label everything).

Please note: Due to online uploads, CDs and DVDs are no longer accepted.
