Judging for the American Advertising Awards will be conducted online.

In some categories, entrants are allowed and/or required to upload additional digital examples of an entry. This is intended to provide more appropriate content for the judges.

Please carefully follow all online submission guidelines provided within the entry system, to ensure that your work is properly represented during all three tiers of the American Advertising Awards competition.

Video entries, in addition to your required download, please consider a streaming option for easier judging (seriously, make your judges happy).

HOW TO ENTER
1. Download and read the detailed instructions on how to properly enter: Professional Rules & Categories / Student Rules & Categories.

2. Log-in to the Online Entry Software, or choose "Professional Entries" or "Student Entries" to set-up your account and begin uploading your entries. Links on left side of page. 

3. Submit Entries (for all categories) entirely online. Carefully review the detailed instructions. Video entries, please consider in addition to downloadable video, adding a streaming video option (private link is fine). this will aid greatly in the judging process.

4. Submit Invoice/Manifest Form with your payment. This form lists all of your entries and shows total cost. You may submit more than once. Entries must be paid for by credit card by the deadline date. Submissions are not considered final until payment is received. 

5. Consider becoming a member of AAF Triangle and save on your entry fees. Professional members save $20 per entry.

Professional Single: Member - $100.00; Non-Member $125.00
Professional Early Bird Discount  - $20.00 through December 31, 2024

Student Campaign: $50
Student Individual: $35
Student Early Bird Discount  - $5.00 through December 31, 2024


 

SPECIAL AWARDS


The Best of Show is the top award given to the entry that best represents the mission of the American Advertising Awards competition and the creative spirit of excellence in the art of advertising. (Public Service and Self-Promotion categories are not eligible for Best of Show).

Judge's Choice is a special non-forwarding award that is chosen at each judge's individual discretion will be selected for stand-out work.

The MOSAIC Award is given to the entry, from any category, that best exemplifies a spirit of diversity and inclusion. Criteria for this award is a demonstration of understanding of and sensitivity to the needs, concerns, and buying practices of multi-cultural audiences.

Audience Choice (NEW) - This year gala attendees will select the winner for three additional awards (non-forwarding) awards. One for their favorite print, digital, and video based entries. 

‘Excellence in Advertising’ Recognition - The board will also recognize all non-winning entries that score well during the gala ceremony with an 'Excellence in Advertising' designation. (Note: these entries cannot be forwarded onto the district level).
