The 2025 American Advertising Awards Competition

ABOUT THE AMERICAN ADVERTISING AWARDS
The American Advertising Awards, home of the ADDY® Award, is one of the industry's most significant creative competitions, attracting nearly 35,000 professional and student entries each year through competitions offered through local AAF clubs. The American Advertising Awards aims to recognize and reward the creative spirit of excellence in advertising.

Conducted annually by the American Advertising Federation (AAF), the AAF-SWFL phase is the first of a three-tier national competition. Concurrently, all across the country, local entrants vie to win ADDY Awards - recognition as the very best in their markets. At the second tier, local ADDY winners compete against winners from other local clubs in the District 4 competition, one of 15 district competitions. District ADDY winners are then forwarded to the third tier, the American Advertising Awards national stage.

HOW TO #WINANADDY
Our panel of well-qualified and thoughtful advertising industry judges evaluate all creative dimensions of every entry. A Gold ADDY is recognition of the highest level of creative excellence for the category. Entries that are considered outstanding and worthy of recognition receive a Silver ADDY. Not all categories will see an ADDY awarded, and it is possible that a category may see only either Gold or Silver awarded.

Judging in the AAF-SWFL tier of the competition will be done in person and physical entries must be submitted where required. If your entry moves on to compete at the District-4 Tier 2 or National Tier 3 competition, it will be judged remotely online. For nearly all entries, you can now upload five files/images and a video.

Please carefully follow all online submission guidelines provided within the entry system to ensure that your work is correctly represented during all three tiers of the American Advertising Awards competition.
