Judging may be hosted virtually. Please check with your local Chapter to verify requirements of physical entries. Requirement of physical entry submissions is at the discretion of the local AAF Chapter.
In some categories, entrants are allowed and/or required to upload additional digital examples of an entry. This is intended to provide more appropriate content for the judges, should a virtual judging solution be necessary. For most categories, there has been no change from prior competition years.
Please carefully follow all online submission guidelines provided within the entry system, in order to ensure that your work is properly represented during all three tiers of the American Advertising Awards competition.

It's time to gather up your biggest, baddest work from the past year and enter it in Cleveland's 2024 American Advertising Awards!
The submission process
We are accepting entries from December 01, 2023 through January 14, 2024 at 11:59 pm.
All work is submitted digitally—so no need to submit hard copies. Just follow the prompts, upload your work, arrange payment, and email your manifest to us.
Note that in some categories, entrants are allowed and/or required to upload additional digital examples for an entry. This is intended to provide more appropriate context for the judges. For most categories, there has been no change from prior competition years.
But be sure to read the 2024 rules and follow all instructions carefully. Before submitting, check that your work meets the contest's eligibilty requirements.
Judging
Our judges rate all submissions on a standard scale. To maximize impartiality, the judges are all from outside of our market.
Based on the scores, the judges award Gold or Silver Addys to the top entrants. They also award 3 Judge's Choice honors . . . and of course, the coveted Best of Show title for the Top Titan of the night!
From the entire entry pool, the judges also select a winner of the Mosaic Addy, given to the submission in any category that best exemplifies a spirit of diversity and inclusion. Learn more about the Mosaic Addy.
