Judging for the American Advertising Awards will be conducted online.

In some categories, entrants are allowed and/or required to upload additional digital examples of an entry. This is intended to provide more appropriate content for the judges.

Please carefully follow all online submission guidelines provided within the entry system, to ensure that your work is properly represented during all three tiers of the American Advertising Awards competition.

 

Welcome to the AAF Fox River American Advertising Awards Competition!

The entry deadline is Friday, January 17, 2025.
 

All entries must be submitted by Friday, January 17, 2025, at 11:59 PM. No physical entries are required this year for entry.

Winners will be announced at our awards show on Thursday, March 6 at Poplar Hall in Appleton, WI. While physical work is not required for entry or judging, we would like to display print work in-person at our awards show. Details for drop-off to be announced.

 

What awards can you win?

  • Gold ADDY - recognition of the highest level of creative excellence.
     
  • Silver ADDY - entries that are also considered outstanding.
     
  • Judges Choice - each judge has the opportunity to recognize an entry they found well done and intrigued them in some way.
     
  • Best of Show - The top overall entry by score and judges input. 
     
  • Mosaic Award - Recognizes high-scoring work that has a unique vision that gives viewers a broader understanding of the BIOPIC, LGBTQIA+, and Disability communities; and promotes equity and inclusion. 
     
  • Jim Rivett Award of Excellence - This award honors an entry completed pro-bono based on creativity, community, and impact.  

 

What happens if I win?

Winners will be notified via the email provided at entry (please make sure this is up-to-date) by mid-February. We will celebrate all our winners at our March awards show.

Local Competition Gold ADDY Winners are forwarded on to second-tier District competition. District Gold winners are then forwarded to the third tier, the National American Advertising Award competition.

If you win a Silver ADDY at our Local Competition you have the option to pay a forwarding fee by March 7, 2025 to be forwarded on to the District competition.
